When they were Born
A girl, a young girl, far to young to know all the things that she did, was dancing. Dancing ardently with a countenance of ecstasy. And while she danced she praised what lay before her.
“Look! Look! Look what we have created! Through dauntless exploration into territories unknown and harrowing hours of tedious and extensive work we have created an irrevocable addition to the progression of our society. We have created excellence! Such inexorable grace! Such nostalgic beauty! Such things to be saved! Never before has there been something so venerable! And to think, that we were able to create something like this incredible! This pure and lovely! In this time of such consternation when we ourselves have become so tainted! Who could have thought that these simply strands of such an unlikely organism would become this magnificent embodiment of the progression we all wish so to capture! The ultanation of what we have all strived for! And thus it would be base of us to keep are so benevolent creation out of the lights of mind. Thus I can only conjecture that our spawn must be shown! We must share them with all and ever! For they are far too marvelous to be kept and hidden away. They shall be known and renowned far and wide! They shall be royalty, nay! Greater than royalty, gods! They shall,”
“No”
“They shall- what?”
“No,” again said the one of the two other girls also to young to know all that she did, who had been listing to the other girls excited claims. “We can not share them with any outside our own world or society.”
“Wh-what?! But-but why not?!” Look at hem! Have you not looked at the? They are everything! They are all! Thus they must be shared with all and ever!”
“No”
“Why?!”
“Yes, to use they are a masterpiece, yes to use they are an accomplishment the likes of which the likes none have ever been so close to, and yes they are indeed the most beautiful things I have ever seen,” the girl sighed solemnly and left the side of the girl she had been standing at as she walked toward the girl who had been so enthralled not but moments ago and now looked listless. She cam to her as sisters side and embraced her. "My dear, though I have always admired your pensiveness I can not let you blindly bring a plague upon yourself. Yes they are beautiful, but only to “use”. Only to those in our world will they be understood. Everywhere else they shall be seen as hideous fiends. They will be ridiculed and malicious. We will make unwanted adversaries and bring turmoil to our society. I’m sorry, but this is what is true.” The first girl, thrown into a state of shock, clasped to the ground and began to sob uncontrollably. The second girl tried deeply to console her, and the third girl, who has been silent and standing in the exact same place sine the start of our story, began to cry long streaming tears of her own.
