Writing is a journey.

One of the great joys about writing is not always the final result but what comes out of it in the process. I love the things that come as I write. The characters evolve and come to life. The characters I write about become like real people that live, breathe, eat, sleep, and have to use some kind of toilet. The characters face their own dilemmas and personal struggles on top of the greater struggles in the series. How each character overcomes those struggles depends on that character’s strengths, weaknesses, abilities, disabilities and beliefs. The characters of my stories make their decisions and I am the hand that records their actions. This, I believe is how writing should be done. I still plan to find an agent and be published some time, but in the mean time I follow my characters and the interesting plot twists they throw at me. You may or may not see new things here, but be assured I am working behind the scenes, and waiting to buy a new scanner.

What a gorgeous picture of the pansies and tulips!! Really excellent photography! I am enjoying your drawings very much, too. I will be watching your portfolio for more goodies.

I read your essay on your Wal-Mart trip and want to thank you for your view. I work with autistic adults at times and you've made me realize what they face every day. Thank you for that! May God be with you daily!
