To me, a place is not just the sum of its parts. It's not the buildings or the landscapes. In my mind, it's the textures that make a place special. The colors. The tiniest little details. The power of a place can be something as simple as a light fixture or a cracked tile. But what really makes a place memorable is the emotional response to just being there. That's what I try to capture in my photographs. And by sharing them, I hope that others are able to feel the power of all these wondrous places, too.
