Faith

One of a series of 11 monoprint intaglio printmaking works, made for something called "Remix 100",

which is a project that was originated by PVAF, in Scotland.

Materials:
"Lightweight Japanese paper", etching ink, "Somerset Buff paper.
Construction:
Made using the "tiny-est" little print I had ever made. Using a religious 'square medal' I inked up (in red) and ran through the etching press. Then, using the 'chine colle' process I incorporated this miniature along with digital print on Japanese lightweight paper. This is all 'super imposed' onto heavyweight 'Somerset Buff' paper which I love. The main scissors image is made using the etching process. I also used a very small amount of pastel pencil , on the print once it was out of the drying boards stack.
