If we will have peace grow in the world, we must first plant it in our own gardens...
I am a person who is infatuated with finding out about "stuff". Yep, stuff. About almost anything; from history to quantum physics, philosophy to minerology, I'm a person who wants to know what it is and how it works. My insatiable curiousity leads me from one discipline to another and keeps me exploring. Through it all, the one true constant has been creativity. I've dabbled in many different mediums and many different styles over the years. I have a BFA with a dual major in ceramics and oil painting. I've worked fairly extensively in printmaking and acrylics. I also love to do carpentry, woodworking and blacksmithing. Currently I'm exploring digital art, photography and glass blowing. When I'm not doing those things, I write poetry and short stories and play musical instruments. So you can see, I'm pretty much all over the place with what I do. And I love it that way! (Please take a moment to view my work full-sized; the small images in the gallery view don't do justice to the details!)

Hi Jim,
Thank you so much for your kind words! Those were exactly my purposes when I re-vamped my site - something cleaner and easy to navigate - so I think I may have reached those small goals!
The Oneiric series is the result of my last outdoor session. It was very gratifying and exciting to do it because we (me and the model) had to find a nice secluded spot to do the shoot (something a bit difficult around Lisbon). But we did and it went smoothly.
I also enjoy your work very much. Can you tell me a bit about the 'scanography' process?
All the best,
Nuno B.
