My paintings have evolved into a mainly stream of consciousness outpouring with surrealist influences. In other words, I don't always know what a specific work is about at the offset. Only during the process of fully developing the work alongside my internal dialogue do I begin to see the entire picture. My work is part automatism, and part reflection.

My sculptural work is at the same time entirely different and very similar to my paintings. Different because I work in the abstract when carving rocks (instead of figuratively as in my paintings,) similar because I go through the same gestation process of internal dialogue and reflective observance.

My work is a largely diverse collection of what's grabbing my attention at the moment. I try to remain flexible in my subject matter as well as my style, because monotony bores me.
