My art is about expression, humor, commentary and re-inventing the pre-existing role of an artist. Being self-taught, I can express myself outside the box in both materials and ideas. I make the art I would want to see. Nevermind the landscapes. I'm influenced by everything from chalkware carnival prizes, Japanese toys, to 50's b-movies. My art is a time capsule. I swallow the world around me and remix it into these creatures. They're my personal telling of what it's like to be alive in this era. I'm an anti-perfectionist, I like my work to look raw, weather-beaten, and bleached. Something you'd find in an antique store near the Twilight Zone.

Nicolas destructo clown is a great work. I always hated clowns.
