I painted as a child in wild colors in watercolor, then learned classical drawing and painting technique, oils and glazing, impasto and muted palette, traditional portrait. I'm currently working on straight colors, using color to represent depth and shadow, and watching for colors rather than darkenings as the creation of space and how we perceive relative color as form
