I just love to create!

I'm 29, a Christian and happily married to a wonderful man named Andrew. We have a 5 year old son named Tarran that we're homeschooling and we live in the south east of Australia. I'm a self-taught artist and I believe that anyone can become the artist they want to be, simply by using their skills of observation and a bit of practice. The same rule applies with sewing/costume making, as I am self-taught in this area also. When I'm not drawing or painting, I'm usually sewing or knitting, reading or writing and when I'm not doing any of the above then I am most definitely thinking about at least one of those activities. I just love to create! I've always had a fascination for history and times past, especially the Medieval period. Obviously this interest has influenced my artwork and most of it is focussed on medieval and fantasy inspired themes. I adore the style of dresses and clothing from those times and it's so enjoyable to dress up with like-minded people for a day. I've played a few musical instruments in my life like the tenor sax, clarinet and a little bit of piano. I can sing but I prefer to listen to music rather than play it. I have many soundtracks from Disney movies to Braveheart and enjoy listening to them as I create.
